Performance Management

In our work we are often asked to help organisations to introduce performance management/appraisal systems. This is in recognition of the importance attached to managing performance effectively. Appraisal processes have been around in the NHS for a long time but implementation is, at best, often patchy. There are also a number of different approaches, which include objective setting, a focus on behaviours and competencies or 360º appraisal. To assist our clients we focus on:
