About the workshop
This half-day workshop is designed to give the participants the skills needed to be an effective mentor on the Register of Mentors. Designed for any member of staff who feels that they have the commitment to support and advise a less experienced individual in their personal development and their career
Workshop objectives

- To learn what skills an effective mentors needs
- To identify areas for personal development toward being an effective mentor
- To learn to manage a mentoring relationship
- To discuss problem solving in mentoring

- Establishing the ground rules and Mentoring Contract
- The role of reflective practice

The workshop will involve short inputs, discussion and practical mentoring exercises to help you to improve your mentoring skills
