Manager's Role in Staff Development
About the workshop
Development and learning should be a continuous process. However sometimes they are seen as specific and periodic in nature both by individuals and organisations. In the present climate of staff shortages and ever demanding jobs it is vital that staff are developed so that retention is improved, motivation is maintained and that organisations have an appropriately trained and skilled workforce to meet the increasing needs of the NHS. This workshop has been designed to highlight the importance of investing in staff and of the concept of continual (professional) development.
