About the workshop
An understanding of personal managerial effectiveness and style and the impact that this has on work and colleagues is vital to individual success. This workshop has been designed to help participants explore their individual style and preferences so that they can more readily adapt behaviour to ensure effectiveness in different situations and when working with others.

Managers who wish to review and enhance their personal managerial effectiveness.
Workshop objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand their 'personality' type using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
- Consider the impact of type on personal effectiveness and preferred way of operating
- Be able to apply the principles of self management and time management
- To consider personal actions necessary to get the best out of different situations

Understanding self
- Understanding yourself and introduction to personality type
- Self assessment of personality type
- Reported type using MBTI
Managing self more effectively
- Understanding how you impact on others
- Identifying strengths and areas for development
Action Planning
Setting out an action plan to increase effectiveness
Self-assessment tools and techniques, case studies and exercises will be used to provide you with workable solutions.
