Consultancy Services
We provide a
unique blend of services. These encompass the provision of Human Resource
Services such as recruitment & selection (including psychometric testing),
career review and outplacement, performance management, team development,
training & development and coaching. We also offer expertise in Public Service
Management including public policy analysis, corporate governance and board
level development, organisational strategy, business planning and marketing.
Our consultancy services also encompass Health/Clinical Services Management,
which incorporates primary care development, clinical governance, service
quality and development.
Training Services
Our training services incorporate training strategy development, training policy formulation and the identification of training needs. We also design and deliver training programmes to meet the specific needs identified by our clients. Recent programmes have included provider leadership programme, personal effectiveness, people management, managing teams, negotiating and influencing, performance management and managers role as a coach.
The BDC also offers a suite of nationally accredited qualification based programmes including, the Award in First Line Management, Certificate in Managing Health & Social Care and the Postgraduate Diploma in Managing Health & Social Care.
These can all be accessed on an open basis or we will tailor these programmes to your specific organisational needs and deliver them 'in-house'.
Research Services
We carry out research to underpin our work and also offer research services to our clients. These include policy and programme evaluation, operational research, research supervision, research training and publication advice and support.
Some recent assignments have included an evaluation of a leadership programme for a SHA, market research, patient satisfaction studies, staff attitude surveys, managing diversity, and the evaluation of new roles e.g. Rehabilitation Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Consultants.
